Angela was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She was inspired to work in media when she met a South African media industry leader while she was still in middle school. After studying Marketing Management, she enrolled at AAA School of Advertising and specialized in Media Planning. After completing internships at DDB, TBWA & OMD Media Direction, she successfully earned her stripes as a Media Planner at Publicis, TBWA, Lowe & Initiative Media, planning on a plethora of verticals such as Automotive, Retail – Food & Clothing, Liquor, Sports Apparel, Healthcare, Tourism, and Financial Services.
Coming from a country with eleven official languages, Angela has planned across various unique multicultural markets.
Angela’s personal mantra is ‘Impossible is Nothing,’ a slogan resonant to her from an Adidas campaign she planned on in the South African market.
Angela’s loves spending time with her family and two fluffy cats. She heads up a book club, loves music, travel shows, chai and olives.
